Residential trips

Year 6 – PARIS

The culmination of children’s French language learning, Year 6 visit Paris for a four day residential trip. Taking place in the second half of the summer term, the children visit a local market to practise their language skills, enjoy the rides of Parc Asterix and explore the sights of Paris via the River Seine and a walk up to Montmartre. It is a trip where they are immersed in French and one they never forget!

Year 5 – BURWELL HOUSE

Year 5 children have the opportunity to visit Burwell House, in the Cambridgeshire countryside for two nights. This residential trip has a geography and outdoor learning focus as part of a high-quality geography education which should inspire in pupils a curiosity and fascination about the world and its people that will remain with them for the rest of their lives. Orienteering through The Fens, exploring the local woodland and seeing first hand a range of diverse natural environments, the children’s geography learning comes to life.

Year 4 – DEBDEN HOUSE

Children in Year 4 spend a summer night camping at Debden House in Epping Forest. Building dens, roasting marshmallows, whittling sticks and navigating the woodland, children make memories in the great outdoors, learning how to be more independent.
